Karate Chop

I just left karate and went to the corner store. I stopped in and some guy just blatanting came up from nowhere, jumped in front of me, and ordered his food. My ego was bruised, and I wanted to act out. Yes, i said something but he still ordered. My ego said, “I know you’re not gonna let him do that!” My spirit said, “You are bigger than this!”. Sometimes we want to show people that we’re not weak, but what Is weak? I’m sitting here in my car, with all types of scenarios going through my mind. Just like when I was a kid….lol…after the fight we go up in our mind thinking about what we could’ve, should’ve done. Real power is when you can walk away from the thing that’s trying to tempt you. Supposed I would have punched him and he stab me, I would be dead…we have to count the cost. I’m saying to you…..that embarrassment is measured only by the person who feels embarrassed. Lmbo, it’s painful to walk away, but the rewards are tremendous. Plus I just learned this new move too…sike…put your ego in your pocket and move forward~richard cook
