You’re built for Whatever

The brother asked me, “Cook, if I had your hand I would trade mine in!”  Lol, I told the brother, I wouldn’t never wish my life on my WORSE enemy.  Never ever.  If a person lived my life for one day, they would kill themselves-real talk. And I don’t say it lightly.  People see the smile, the demeanor, character, and charisma; but I promise that if you knew a smidgen of my life in past and present, you would appreciate yours a thousand times more. So, the question you may be asking is like the same question thar Dr. Benjamin Mays writes about in the book “Jesus and the Disinherited”. If you serve this Jesus then why does He allow you to go through so much pain?  I mean,  Cook, you serve in church, you volunteer everywhere, you help so many, yet GOD let you to walk through hell.  Why serve a GOD like that when everything around you is saying DENY a GOD like that? Family, can I be frank? I asked GOD one day in Washington D.C.,  why didn’t HE take my life, given all the stuff I did, because we did stuff to HIM also.  Why did HE allow my tomorrow be Bright when I MADE my yesterday Dark.  Sometimes we have to go through things in order to appreciate the GOD we serve, in order to appreciate the blessings HE gives and to help others by using the lenses of our experiences.  Our past is irretrievably lost and irrevocable stored.  So no matter the situation,  GOD has already prepackaged us for Whatever comes our way.  It’s just the situation that brings it out of us.  You and I are too gifted and too strong to die worthless and meaningless. Be satisfied with who GOD made you and walk in that anointing.  You’re built for Whatever!
