Cook’s Dating Rule #9:

I remember my buddy’s wife was trying to hook me up with her cousin. Her personality was everything, she was working on her JD to become a lawyer, and she was eyecandy on a level ten. We talked for hours on the phone, then we got on religion and religious beliefs. We didn’t see eye to eye on a couple of Key points. It was at that point, I couldn’t continue. If you try to change a person’s belief system, then the liability can become mentally weighting and I don’t have the capacity to try and see where our other beliefs differ or connect. The issue that most of us have is that we don’t investigate the person’s belief, we try to change their belief, or we adopt their beliefs. The belief of a person is their way of life and could potentially crucify you and those connected to you. All of which, become damaging towards the future of the relationship, if their is one. I let her meet my buddy, and he was like, Cook, “You didn’t try to compromise? Shorty is a beast! ” Nope, I know my limitations, and most of us exceed our limitations trying to CREATE love when Love cannot Be Created. …Love evolves. Let me stop right here, I’m tired of typing; but we have to stop having adulterous affairs with our relationships to our GOD and GOD given beliefs. She believed that there was no such thing as miracles. She believed that things just happen, and there isn’t a sense in going to church and my beliefs are antithetical to that. Stop overlooking what made you live again before you end up with someone who will kill you soul tomorrow!  ♤ Coach Cook
